Organic Gut-Healthy Avocado Dip

This Dip is great for  healthy tacos, burritos, plantain chips, sweet potato chips, or even as a veggie dip!  I’m a big fan of cooking with strategy for the body, and this dip is not only yummy but impressive in it’s health benefits too! It is full of gut-healing probiotics from organic coconut yoghurt and hormone-healthy fats from avocados.  As an added benefit, the flavorful cilantro helps the body detox from harmful heavy metals!  The lime juice gives it extra flavor and is high in vitamin C which will boost the immune system and help the body fight infection.  The lime juice also helps keep the dip from turning brown, extending the serving life a couple of days (if you don’t eat it all in one setting like me!).


4 avocados (I buy organic when I can, but avocados are not a fruit that is high in pesticide use so it is not super important that they be organic)

1/4 c. So Delicious organic unsweetened coconut yogurt

1 organic lime

1 tsp pink himalayan salt

1/2 tsp organic garlic powder

1/4 tsp organic onion powder

1 bunch organic cilantro, coarsely chopped


In a medium bowl, mash up the avocados.  Add the coconut yogurt, lime juice, salt, garlic powder and onion powder and mix together thoroughly.  Mix in the cilantro.  Serve as an addition to healthy tacos, burritos, as a chip or veggie dip!  This is a great replacement for ranch dip without the dairy or MSG.
