Organic Pumpkin Spice Latte

I don’t know about you, but the cool Fall temperatures and beautiful trees sure make me crave a Pumpkin Spice Latte!

Did you know that a grande pumpkin spice latte from Starbucks has 50 g of sugar and 380 calories! This will wreck your blood sugar and hormones and cause weight gain! Diabetes in a cup!!

With any coffee beverage it will be soo much healthier if you make your own. Choose organic coffee, because coffee is a very high pesticide crop (disrupts hormones, causes infertility and cancer). So something like coconut or almond milk instead of conventional dairy to avoid dozens of hormones, antibiotics and chemicals. Conventional dairy is super inflammatory and just overall not healthy. I also do not recommend soy milk. 90% of the soy in he U.S. is GMO, plus soy is a phyto-estrogen and linked to both male and female estrogen-driven cancers. Choose organic spices!

Ingredients:

*8 oz. organic coffee

*1 Tbsp organic pumpkin purée *1/4 c. Organic coconut milk

*Dash of cinnamon, ginger, clove and nutmeg

*Stevia or maple syrup to taste!

Directions:

Brew your coffee then add the rest of the ingredients and stir well.  Then curl up to your puppy dog, some good Christmas music or a nice book and enjoy the moment!
